Made from Australian porcelaneous Stoneware Clay.

As each piece is unique and no other is the same, sizes and shades will vary.

TRACY MUIRHEAD (RSA/AUS)

Born in South Africa, Tracy now lives in the leafy, outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. She is passionate about clay, but tries to manipulate it as little as possible, allowing it to find its own expression. Most of her pieces are the result of a playful process of discovery and no two pieces are the same. Presentation and pondering how the piece will enhance our living space is the final part of the process. 

Tracy uses a variety of clays including black clay from the UK, White stoneware clay from Australia, terracotta - the clay choice in Africa, and the groggy, textured clay reminiscent of the Japanese aesthetic. These cultures all influence her work on a conscious and unconscious level.
